Equi-Bow Technique

What Is Equi-Bow?

It is a holistic technique designed for horses.   The philosophies and disciplines for Equi-Bow come from many different fields such as, Acupuncture, Feldenkrais, Massage, soft tissue release, CranioSacral, myofascial release, tack fitting, balanced hoof, behaviour modification and more. The touch of the technique is light.  Series of moves are made with a “pause” in between to observe the subtle response of the horse’s body.  The pause also give the horse time to process the changes happening.  Facial expression changes, yawning, licking and chewing are some of the responses you will see.  Equi-Bow works by stimulating the fascia, muscles, skeleton and nervous system to work together and create positive changes throughout the horses body.  It helps the body continue to heal itself.  It has been seen to benefit many different issues:

  • Sports injuries
  • Arthritic pain

.

  • Balance problems
  • Shoulder problems

.

  • Lymphatic drainage
  • Circulation and much more.

.

“Empowering the body to heal itself.”

Equi-Bow Healing for our horse

Equi-Bow is a fascinating way to help balance your horse in both body and mind.  It helps relieve tightness and tension throughout the body promoting healing, better posture, movement and relaxation.  Equi-Bow is a non-invasive, soft approach to body work.  The sessions are all about the horse enabling them to be the best they can be.

The benefits are that your horse will be a more rounded, balanced horse physically and mentally.  It encourages your horse to relax and stay grounded.  With the aid of Equi-Bow your horse will be happier and healthier.   The better your horse feels, the better the entire experience with your horse will be, on the ground and under saddle.  Equi-Bow is a unique way to support your horse in all activities they do, even if it is playing in the field.

*Equi-Bow does not in any way replace veterinarian diagnosis or care.
